Steven Chia is a veteran in the media industry with over two decades of experience behind him. A familiar face at CNA (Channel NewsAsia), he currently helms the show Talking Point. Prior to that, he presented the early morning show
AM Live! He sits on the board of the YMCA of Singapore, is a District Councillor for the Southwest Community Development Council and is also a member of the NUS Communications and New Media Industry and Advisory Council. However,
the role he feels most proud of is that of being a father to two young children. When it comes to parents spending time with their kids, he believes in the notion of ‘the more the merrier’. Steven also dreams of the day when
kids in Singapore will spend more time at play than at tuition.
