Objectives of the Educational Support Chapter
The Educational Support (ES) Chapter is a professional network which aims to promote a culture of professionalism and pride for teachers supporting Low Progress Learners (LPL). It will also serve as a focal point for teachers of LPL to engage in collaborative learning and inquiry.
The ES Chapter seeks to deepen teachers’ mastery and pedagogical content knowledge in supporting LPL. Through partnerships with schools, divisions in MOE and the National Institute of Education (NIE), the ES Chapter promotes pedagogical innovations and facilitates research-informed practice, with the aim of motivating and engaging LPL in schools.
